L.A.'s Baroque Community Orchestra presents music by Vivaldi, Graun and Geminiani written for 18th-century stage versions of the then popular story "Armida." Plus, Handel’s birds! The "Sweet Bird" aria from L'Allegro, and his "Cuckoo and Nightingale" Organ Concerto. Los Angeles Baroque, directed by Lindsey Strand-Polyak.
RSVP is recommended to receive reminders, but not required. 1-hour performance without intermission followed by a party with the musicians in the Parish Hall. All are welcome but children who are unable to sit quietly for a one hour performance are invited to join afterward for the reception.
