Performing Arts LIVE is the most comprehensive online source for information about theater, dance and classical music events in Southern California. Performing Arts LIVE was founded as a community service in 2007 to bring performing artists and their audiences together. Whether you are a performing artist, performing arts organization or seek to find events that you might go to, you have come to the right place.

Event listings include the major venues and productions you would expect as well as the smaller venues, recital halls, libraries, museums, festivals, music competitions, civic and educational centers featuring young and emerging performing artists.

FEATURED EVENTS

Our Home Page displays FEATURED EVENTS that are hand-picked and updated daily. These are productions that we find worthy of your consideration.

FIND AN EVENT

In addition to browsing the FEATURED events on our Home page and subsequent pages, there are three easy ways to search Performing Arts LIVE for events.

Click FIND EVENTS on the Home page and you will be taken to a page that will allow you to search for events in several ways.

• Search by date using the Calendar and you will see all events in all regions for the date you select
• Use the Search Box to quickly find events by event category, region, date range or Keyword
• Use the Custom Search feature to select multiple event / region criteria and narrow the search to find exactly what you are looking for.

POST AN EVENT

It is easy and FREE! You decide what content to include. At a minimum you should include:

• Event name
• Photo or image
• Brief description
• Presenter/producer information
• Venue/location
• Performance dates and times
• Ticketing information
• Links to your website, ticketing, social media, YouTube or other relevant websites

We strongly encourage you to become a Performing Arts LIVE Artist. There is no charge and you can store recurring information in your profile to make posting future events quick and easy. You will also be able to go into your account to see all of your upcoming events and easily make changes to them as needed.

You can also post a single event without becoming a Performing LIVE Artist.

After you have submitted your event for posting, we will review it, approve it, and send you a confirmation email which also has a link in it for you to make changes to the event in the future if needed.
