 Uprooted: Santa Monica Repertory Theater's 4th Annual Playreading Festival, Plays written and directed by Women
Join us in celebrating women artists who are uprooting entrenched and outmoded ideas through the power of theater.
This two day event begins with a Friday night reception.
The festival continues all day Saturday with a storytelling sewing circle with artist Irma Sofia Poeter, in partnership with Building Bridges Art Exchange a storytelling workshop for young people 8-17 SHINEOnline Live! storytelling show, and two playreadings written and directed by women.
The evening culminates in a world premiere solo piece written and performed by Andrea Schell.
