 To commemorate the 150th anniversary of the birth of legendary American poet Robert Frost (1874–1963), the San Diego Master Chorale is partnering with The Robert Frost Society, Library Foundation SD, San Diego Public Library and Sweetwater Union High Schools to present a series of concerts and community programs in honor of the occasion.
Our season opens with an enchanting program commemorating the 150th anniversary of the birth of legendary American poet Robert Frost (1874-1963) with a performance of Randall Thompson’s Frostiana. Immerse yourself in the rich, evocative world of Frost’s poetry brought to life through Thompson’s exquisite music. This concert will also feature works by American composers Anthony Trecek-King, Shawn Kirchner, Stephen Paulus, Jennifer Lucy Cook, and H.T. Burleigh.
