Nine Winning One-Acts

Nine Winning One-ActsThe Group Rep proudly presents their fourth annual Nine Winning One-Acts play festival, with fresh world premiere ten-minute plays chosen from more than 275 entries from around the world.  The event is co-produced by Helen O’Brien and Sascha Vanderslik, shot and edited by Doug Engalla, with original music by Marc Antonio Pritchett.

All nine plays will be performed as Pone program and premiere virtually on 10/10/2020 (ten-ten-twenty-twenty) at 8:00 pm (PST) on both Facebook and YouTube.

When the world took a pandemic pause and all in-person performances halted the Group Rep decided to move forward and capture the nine one-act plays on video, creating another virtual production following the recent success of Tuesdays with Morrie.

The Group Rep performers and the production team will be following Covid-19 Safety Protocols.  Some plays were filmed at the Group Rep’s Lonny Chapman Theatre and at various outdoor locations others will be captured via Zoom.
