CrudeA Completely Unauthorized Play About The Baddest of The Rock and Roll Bad Boys. In the early 1980s a band rose from the streets of Hollywood to become a cultural phenomenon and for one brief shining moment, all things seemed possible.

From award winning writer/director David Lucarelli comes This play has not been authorized or endorsed by Mötley Crüe or any of its members.
Crude is a darkly humorous drama starring Ryan Ruffing and Phillip-Charlie Daniell. “The wait list for the final show of the first run was a dozen deep,” exclaims director David Lucarelli. “We’re excited to provide three more chances to see the show that the critics seemed to love as much as the sold-out audiences did.”

Samantha Simmonds-Ronceros of the NoHo Arts District said Crude is  “Hilarious!” "Brash, loud, sexual energy floods the stage. The cast is brilliant,"  and the show is "An important piece of American cultural history."

Cheryl Lightfoot of Pop Culture Junkie said, “Crude is a love letter to the legendary 80s band that lets us experience the heady, hedonistic joy of being the biggest stars on the planet.”

WRITTEN AND DIRECTED BY David Lucarelli, award-winning writer/producer of Doctor Zomba’s Ghost Show, writer of Tinseltown (Alterna Comics) and The Children’s Vampire Hunting Brigade graphic novels.
